VOL 01. PROTECTING BIODIVERSITY

All across the country, vital conservation areas help protect biodiversity by providing safe habitats for countless species. Oh, and did we mention that this year marks the 20th anniversary of Ontario’s Greenbelt—the largest protected green space in Canada! This month, bring the wonder of conservation into your classroom with hands-on activities designed to engage your students.

• The Greenbelt Game: Students step into the “shoes” of animals living in the Greenbelt, discovering firsthand how these protected areas support wildlife.

• Finding the Caribou: Receive our ready-to-go activity kit in the mail, and dive into the challenges caribou face and how we can help protect them.

• Earth Rangers Winter Quest: A thrilling conservation adventure perfect for your classroom’s most curious Chill Seekers!

Find out more about each of these activities below.
