November Adventures

Psst, Educators in Manitoba…we’ve even got a special contest for you!

As part of the quest, the Wheatley Green Club took on the All Taste No Waste Challenge.

“Students were amazed by stats about how much food is wasted in Canada. They found clean plate champion and make black gold easy to do. They were eager to share their experience.”

Well done!

All clubs that complete the four-steps of the quest will receive a collectible Earth Rangers pennant and a personalized completion certificate.

All you have to do is log in or create an account to get started.

Earth Rangers will be launching a special activity to help your class experience animal-tracking first hand and learn more about how climate change is affecting caribou in the Yukon.

Based on this real-world situation and developed for Grades 5 and 6, this hands-on activity is curriculum-linked and an engaging way to introduce students to animal tracking, the value of two-eyed seeing for data collection and interpretation, as well as the importance of local conversation projects.
